INDK SYMPHONIC COLLABORATION
is a collaborative music venture between India and Denmark, the focus of which is to strengthen relations between the two countries through culture, specifically, through the universal language of music.
Created by India-born conductor Maria Badstue, the first event of this first-of-its-kind collaborative initiative was originally scheduled to take place in March 2020, but had to be postponed due to the worldwide pandemic (Covid-19).
We are pleased to announce that two cultural projects will now take place in the 2023/2024 season. The first will take place July 28, 2023. The second in April 2024.
One of India’s premier cultural institutions, the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai is hosting the programme in collaboration with the Symphony Orchestra of India and the Danish conductor Maria Badstue.
