“With my life in Denmark and my Indian heritage, it is a profound personal joy and a professional honor to contribute to strengthening the cultural and musical ties between India and Denmark, two culturally rich nations with deep artistic roots.
In 2017, I was given the opportunity to conduct in India for the first time, marking my return to the country from which I was adopted as an infant. Arriving at Mumbai Airport 35 years later was a deeply emotional experience for me. It ignited a personal journey and stands as one of the most profound and moving moments in my life. The significance of reconnecting with my birthplace and culture has had a lasting impact on me, both personally and professionally. It remains one of the most meaningful and impactful moments in my entire life.
I remain sincerely grateful for the opportunities to facilitate cultural exchanges between Denmark and India, and to all the individuals, organizations and sponsors that have made this possible. Both Denmark and India have shaped my identity, and I remain dedicated to nurturing and expanding these connections through my passion for music and culture“
